TIME GOES BY | TGB Elders and the 2012 Election

I have now decided that I will vote for Obama in November even though my heart isn't completely in it the way it was in 2008. Obama has been a great disappointment these past four years and the 3rd debate certainly didn't get me "fired up and ready to got" the way me and my fellow Texas campaign workers were when we canvassed in Ohio the last time. Since I am a resident of "the Great State of Texas" my vote will have little effect (strike that-"no effect") on the outcome of the national elections but I might as well add my 2 cents along with my choices for local representatives.
And by the way, there is no question-it is the closet racist block who are opposing Obama so vehemently. Somebody commented that "We're all not racists" which is true but the number of bigots hiding in the closet is huge (especially here in the South)
Clinton '16? I wonder if she'll have the strength to pull it off and will Bill still be around to campaign for her?
Stay tuned...

I started with your last post, and I like what I see. I also share your political frustrations. Even here in blue state California there are areas that elect reactionary twits. Amazingly, the people here seem rational enough if you do not discuss government, politics, or history with them.
